You're right that people in power want to stay there. What has confounded me for years, though, is that people want them there. These days, with some women staying in religions that subjugate them, make them subservient, some ethnic groups that vote against their own survival and interests, I've concluded that some people LIKE control. And if there is collateral damage, i.e., pregnant women dying for lack of care, they're alright with that. I mean to include women in that group.

Because some people hate Freedom.
