This made me reflect back on Glinda the Witch of the North telling Dorothy at the end of Wizard of Oz that "you've always had the power to go back to Kansas... but you had to discover it yourself."

You are correct here, I find, to see what's inside is most important. And we all have to learn it ourselves, because we'd never believe it otherwise.
