The best publications offer a variety of viewpoints. Great piece and I applaud your raising the issue. I write on Medium mostly to hone my writing skills. My best pieces have earned me bupkus, so the idea of "earning" on Medium is a joke as far as I'm concerned. But I really enjoy the community and the variety of writers so I stay. For the time being.
