Great coverage of this egregious enterprise and its longlasting effects on the Black community. I learned about the Tuskegee Experiments decades ago while working at a cable station. But many still don't know about the cruelty, sadism really, that went on under the guise of "medical" whatever -- certainly not medical care.

Wanda Sykes talks in her brilliant comedy special "Not Normal" about the ongoing racism in medical care. After a total mastectomy, she tells of being given "Ibu-f*&^ing profen" instead of stronger pain medicine.

So the oxycodone crisis is now affecting largely whites because Blacks are not prescribed the pills. Ironic. Or would you say Karmic?

Scorpio living out my karmic life. The internal life is most interesting to me. Illumination, expansion, humor. Politics along the way.
