Dear Jay - what an incredibly helpful post, and one that is even more memorable for the circumstances in which you made the connection.

I just posted elsewhere my memory of the day that left a lasting impression: I left my job on the 101st Floor of the North Tower shortly before 9/11 and started working midtown. I left due to an awful manager who was cruel and obnoxious. Watching the events unfold on 9/11 I kept thinking of that manager and I thanked him, he saved my life! I bless him every year on the anniversary.

We simply have no idea sometimes that Life is moving us to where we need to be.
