I have some background in tech and sometimes friends ask for help on one issue or another. An elderly Christian gay friend had computer problems, but his computer needed a deep wipe and re-install of the operating system. I no longer have the software to do this, so I contacted a tech friend to do it for me. The tech friend no longer talks to me because of "the disgusting gay porn" that was everywhere on the computer. I was unaware of the issue beforehand. I told the elderly Christian of the tech's reaction, and he denied that he used or downloaded porn. I was disappointed that he lied.

My point is, clearly people, even Bible-thumping Christians are engaging with porn materials, and if they want to leave it behind, there is little support. Instead they stay hidden, I think.
