And thank God (and Jesus) that they do. I'm a Near Deather, drowned when I was 7 years old and crossed over to the other side. I learned a great deal. The story is pinned to my profile. I've always believed two things: 1) No one knows when salvation occurs, and delusional people will always claim they do. 2) Jesus often said what was in one's heart was what mattered most to the Father. Jesus states "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8).
I know evangelicals and many Bible believers want to keep their power, but the truth is, they have none. I find the Eight Beatitudes to be most important to Christian belief. Bravo, Pope Francis, who displays what it is to continue to be enlightened, more deeply.
